The compressor is SO LOUD!

I bought this 3 months ago and have been regretting it ever since. The noise this compressor makes when it starts up is so obnoxious and high pitched that even my dogs will tilt their heads. It makes a high pitched ringing noise that continues for 20-30 seconds before it subsides. I have contacted customer support 3 times and there was no response. Finally I contacted them via Chat and they said it was only covered under warranty if it was broken. Since it is functioning, it is not covered. Stay away people!! I had a 13 year old Maytag that I loved and it was replaced by this noisy thing. I have lost faith in Maytag brand.

I was so excited to get a new refrigerator, specially a french doors one, but I can see here at the reviews that people are experience the same problem as me. Ice maker is building UP ice and when goes to choose a ice form (cube or crushed) it both of them will come out at the same time. Also I am having a problem that at the bottom of water supply it will be dripping water after use. I like the fridge, but was not expecting to have any problem a in a brand new one.

Ice Maker Issue

I love this refrigerator. However, there's an issue with the ice maker. I've owned the refrigerator for only one month and it's has stopped making ice twice. When I remove the tray and feel around with my hand, I can feel ice buildup on some of the components. When this happens, I unplug the refrigerator over night, which causes the refrigerator to warm up enough to melt the ice buildup, but not enough to harm the food. Once the buildup is melted, I plug the fridge back up and the ice maker works again. I specifically bought a Maytag because I trusted the brand. I'm disappointed in the quality of the ice making unit. It does not serve the needs of my family. It's terribly inconvient but just not enough to go through the hassell of returning the fridge to the store or paying for some repair. Other than that, so far, I still love my new fridge. Unfortunately, with this ice maker issue, I would not recommend anyone to purchase it.

The ice maker stops making ice once in a while I have to take out the whole ice maker to clear jams. Sometimes there aren't any jams, it just stops making ice. Also crushed and cubes come out at the same time.
